Ever wanted to use sounds from your iOS apps but hate having to play them in on a touchscreen? This problem can be fixed by using your iOS device as a “midi module”. On mac using network midi you can send midi from ableton to your phone via an external instrument and have the audio come back in your interface into ableton as the external instrument.
Notes: better speeds / less latency if your create your own ad hoc network on mac rather than use your router.
